Remember your childhood vacations when your whole family would pile into the mini-van and travel across country or even just a 2 hour drive to your grandmother’s house? I know I do! I loved traveling to any place I could, just to see the sights or see things I wouldn’t see if I were say, flying.
The fun we would have playing games, eating snacks, seeing the country-side. Those childhood memories of travel will last my whole lifetime. Yet, as I age and am becoming closer to (gasp) 30, I’m looking to make new memories of travel adventures.
This time, however, the travel will not be in my families van, but by other means of transportation that is new and unique to me.
Here are 2 unique and interesting ways to travel!
1) Caravanning

Caravanning
Looking into making your trailer in your caravan adventure as homey as possible? Remember to make a list of all your essentials. Bring only supplies you will need, as you don’t want to crowd your tiny home on the road. And, make sure to bring a first aid kit, you never know when you might get a cut or scrape and need ointment and bandages.
While you travel you want to make sure you remain safe by purchasing caravan insurance. If you’re planning to travel by caravan, the key thing to remember is most countries require you to have taken out a valid insurance policy.
Luckily there are plenty of caravan insurance providers out there. This way you know you will be secure on your travels if anything were to happen. Peace of mind while traveling is of the utmost importance!
2) Interrailing
Interrailing is travel by means of Inter Rail or railway systems of Europe. I cannot tell you what a dream come true traveling by train in Europe would be to me! It would be such an exhilarating yet relaxing feeling riding on a train seeing so many cool new sights that could only be seen from that train. Travel by train much like being in any travel environment can be a bit cramped. You want to make sure if you choose this method of travel you pack light and comfortable as you never know what type of situation may arise. Also be sure to keep your passport, travel insurance papers, and other valuables close at hand as these are important things to have while traveling aboard a train. Interrailing can be a great life experience!
These two new methods of travel for me is something I’ve never done, but would love to do! And I hope that is the same case for you! Travel doesn’t have to be boring anymore. It doesn’t have to be a means to your destination, but a journey within itself. This type of travel brings new people, adventure, and thrills into your life which you might not have experienced if you had not chose one of these travel means.
What is your favorite way to travel? Will you give these two travel methods a go?
