Question: Do you prefer non-personal blogs over personal blogs?07.14.07

This can be a fun and also a very important question to ask yourself, whether you are a blogger or a blog reader. Do you prefer reading and writing non-personal blogs over personal blogs?

Many people think personal blogs offer not much value to the blogosphere, and I think while that may be true in case of many specific personal blogs, non-personal blogs are more prone to not offering any value, while creating an illusion of value. Thus, both personal and non-personal blogs can offer value, and can also waste time, energy and faith, depending on the perspective used to look at things.

In this question, I am asking specifically about the importance of non-personal blogs in your life, and comparing it to the importance of personal blogs in your life. To give you a better idea of personal blogs and non-personal blogs, here is one of the countless ways to look at both of them.

5 offline stereotypes you can use to stereotype bloggers07.12.07

I like certain kind of stereotypes. If I go to a bar and I do not get carded once in a while, it is awesome. However, sometimes, I even get asked to show my ID to be able to get a student discount or to be admitted to any rated-R movie in theatres, like The Last King of Scotland. I like to think it is because of the fact that I look young, though sometimes I wonder if it is because of the way I act.

Carrying on that tradition onto the online world, I would like to present to you 5 offline stereotypes that many are successfully bringing into the online world, ensuring that there is an abundant supply of stereotype to associate people with.

Question: Why do you blog?06.30.07

Today’s question can be one of the most important questions, if not the most important question, for many bloggers. Why do you blog? If you run a website which is not a blog, why do you run that website?

Personal Blog Subniches04.30.07

Personal blogs are everywhere. You probably run into personal blogs everyday where people talk about their daily lives. Majority of the personal blogs do not make any money, whereas a few personal blogs make more money than some offline jobs. Even though people are focusing more and more on writing about specific niches on the internet in order to make money, personal blogs are being overlooked unfairly as having any potential for growth.

In reality, personal blogs probably have the highest growth potential compared to almost any other blogging niche on the internet due to one simple fact: the personal blogging niche has not been categorized into smaller, more specialized personal blogging sub-niches, the way life is categorized into smaller thoughts and feelings everyday.
