Did you know that Charles Darwin, credited with the idea of “survival of the fittest” and his theory of “evolution” through “natural selection”, never actually used the word “survival of the fittest” or the word “evolution” in his famous book “The Origin of Species“? Did you also know that Darwin did not spend most of the time on the beaches or boats or on the sea as is assumed, but on the lands in South America, to experiment and find out the concept of explaining evolution through natural selection? On top of all that, did you also know that Darwin did not come up with the entire concept of evolution and survival of the fittest out of the blue, but that his works were inspired by other people?
