I think the aim when we write should be to write what you want to write….

If there is passion and heart in your writing then the results will show. I think there are times when writer do compromise and then many will agree they are not satisfied with themselves.

Thanks Iris. I really appreciate the kind words. You are right: if we don’t do something voluntarily, we will probably not have passion for it.

Nice one again Bes. If we don’t really write something we like or we are interested in, I don’t think we will still have the passion to go on the blog.

The best thing is, when you write something you really want to share, and lots of people appreciate that. EX: making money online!! LOL. :p Well…. It might not be a that good instance. haha.

Chau, thanks for explaining this further. I am glad you like this piece. Following trends is simply weird in my view unless there is a logic behind it. For me, “because others do it too” is not a good logic. We all have opinions and feelings. If only we can channel in our own true self into our blog somehow, we can be unique, the way we are in our offline lives.

“You can’t please everybody“; you are right. Many people do not realize this at the moment. They think because of the money rolling in on blogs, they can try to please as many as possible without wondering what they are actually doing.

I write my blogs about things I find interesting, and want others to find interesting also. I don’t really “follow the trends” about stuff that’s already “interesting”, and write about that. That just makes your blog “just another blog”… I like being unique, but that’s who I am, though, so my opinion’s probably biased.

I agree with you about being happy about what you’re writing though! Even if there are only a couple of people who reads your blogs, if you’re happy with it, then that should be it! You don’t need to please TONS of people, because that is definitely not going to happen. You can’t please everybody.

But yes, nice entry, Bes, as always! LOL.
