Thought: On sticking to the point in your posts
Last week Daniel suggested that blog writers should stick to the point in their posts. While I agree with the point, I realize that sometimes it is hard to figure out what to share and what to avoid writing in posts. Things you write in your posts may be extremely important to you, but your readers may find them boring. So what should you do?
Experiment. Share everything you want in some posts while hiding most of the extra stuff in others. See how readers react, and react yourself accordingly. Do the same thing with real people in your life. There is no single answer to everything when it comes to communicating with other human beings. You have to learn and change accordingly in order to help others learn and change.

Wow, Bes, I think you’re reading my mind now. I was contemplating about this exact issue earlier today. Creeeeeppppyyy.

Glad to know my mind-reading skills are working.

Also, you do not have to worry about sticking to the point in your posts. With or without examples, I have yet to lose interest while reading your posts.

Hahaha.
Thank you.
I’m glad to hear that. I definitely don’t want people falling asleep at the keyboard or anything.

You definitely don’t want people suing you because of broken noses [because of falling asleep on the keyboard], :p, so you are ok.

Bes, I agree 100%, while I think that it is extremely important to get straight to the point, the process of getting there is relative to each blogger and to each blog style.
Experimenting is the best way to discover how concise you must be.

Daniel, thanks for commenting on this. I really appreciate it.
You are right and I agree too: each blog and blogger has to try its own path, and each blog and blogger requires its own solution to apply in order to have effective communication with others. I have been on your blog since it was born [lol], so I am guessing you experimented a lot elsewhere before since your posts are always up to the point and precise that people can start using and experimenting with your tips right away if they wanted to.

LOL, hmm… I’m sure that my blog doesn’t go straight to the point. Haha. But I think my readers like that, even though my blogs may be soooo long! LOL. But yeah, that definitely is a good point, though…
Hmm, not sure how it’d go in real life, though… Hmm… LOL.
Btw, sorry I haven’t been commenting or even coming! I’ve been soo busy!

Your readers seem to love your posts because of you explaining even a year old situation without any problems. It seems you have very good memory, which I have told you on numerous occasions. Really, you think your blog posts are too long? Hmm, I didn’t notice. :p
You are right. It would be interesting to see how such a thing goes down in real life interactions and narration.
Do not worry about you not commenting or coming; I did not even notice since I try to catch you on instant messengers sometime and I think my time schedule is a bit off the mark these days. I am glad you had time to comment on this!
Talk to you soon.
