If I could, I would spend all nights in the fog. Until, of course, I see someone with a hook.

Seeking god when searching for God

Posted in Life by Bes on Feb 12, 2005

I sit on Jet Blue, waiting for the drinks to come. It’s been a few minutes since the plane has been in the air. Some people watch the free DirecTV, while others chat with each other. You can hear them talking; “it’s been a hectic week, you can’t imagine.” I can imagine; its been a hectic life for many of us, yet not all of us are telling others about it. Many people can’t sit quietly for a few minutes; others can’t talk for more than a few minutes without going blank as to which topic to talk about next.

Many have seen god in their dreams; others have seen God in their dreams. Many seek god to find peace; others seek God in their conversations to find peace. It is a race for finding peace and happiness, away from the harsh reality of things around them. Whenever they cannot bear the responsibility of things and think that everything around them is unjustified and they cannot identify their own life, they sometimes seek (g)God. Then they need to let others know that they are seeking him. This is important, because many people cannot be satisfied with what they seek until they make sure others know about their search. May be they like others knowing about their activities, or may be they like others to know that they know what to do in life. Even female activists turn to him and not anyone who’s a “she” God from the ancient religions.

Let’s talk about finding our own satisfaction and goal in life thenseek these two things from a supernatural without depending on others, yet at the same time let’s tell about our plan to everyone around us, that we have started searching for a supernatural being and want to seek his approval. They don`t know for what the approval is for, but that doesn`t stop them. Let`s post about our search in our personal diaries as well as public diaries, letting everyone know that we are searching for god and are asking him for guidance. That way, we will have another entry in our diary, and at the same time, the need to quench the thirst of finding some means to an answer gets satisfied also. Better yet, let’s just tell everyone that we are seeking him for answers, and that we aren`t doing anything else other than complaining and crying, while saying at the same time that we aren`t complaining. Telling others about it will do the whole trick. All we need to do is to think we are asking him for help when we are in deep dirt, and when we are happily jumping around the fences, to focus only on the swings. Life, after all, is all about ourselves. Even the supernatural, to whom we claim we turn to for answers, can wait in the waiting lounge till his number comes up. That number will come up when we have no idea what is going on and we need an idea, of something invisible helping us, in our heads. Only then will we find peace, according to them, according to those for whom the whole idea of life depends on seeking the answers without knowing and trying to know what the question is, for that is the easy way out of everything in and out of life.
