Priorities, flickr, and emails
One of my friends called me on my cell phone while I was doing something extremely important on the computer. I didn’t answer the phone. After a few minutes, my home phone started ringing, and the same friend left a long message on the answering machine saying “Yeah, just called your cell phone and was wondering if you were home or not. Just got off work early and wanted to hang out.” Then he called my cell phone again, and then my home phone again with another voice message. This cycle continued for 4 times in the next 70 or so minutes, after which I unplugged my home phone and turned off my cell phone. Silence is golden indeed.
Flickr seems to be a very good way for me to work on pictures, so far. It’s allowing me to not only share my photos [duhhhh], but is much easier than the gallery I have installed on the site. While I would love to have complete control over things I use on this site, Flickr seems to be more efficient at this moment, and really easy to use also.
In my last post, I mentioned the number of emails I get everyday. Here is a snapshot taken about half an hour ago of my email inbox, in Thunderbird. The main Inbox puts emails from several email accounts into one location before I sort them out into different folders, either individually or in batches. I’ll have to go through the emails after this post is done. Hmmmm.

Woah, that’s crazy about your friend! Dude, I would have just stopped after I left a message on your cell phone! Wow, that’s crazy! He must have been desperate or something! LOL.
Hmm… I might start to use Flickr soon… We’ll see.
Wow, that is crazy about your e-mails!! Hehe, I have over a hundred only for my site stuff… I usually answer my personal e-mails after I receive them though, since it’s more important than everything else. LOL.

Valerie — > :p Yeah, I guess many [hmm, or most maybe?] of my friends fall into that category. :p
Chau — > Yeah, heh. Flickr is good; I’ll send you an invitation if you want. :p
Emails emails emails; I’m still going through today’s emails, and so many junk emails. I wish my Thunderbird client would be on steroids and destroy any incoming junk, but I guess I have to train it for a while because it tries to do that on a massive level.
JeSs — > I do a lot of things; eat, sleep, drink, drive, etc. :p Heh yes and more, not related to computers too like consulting or HR. Yeah, I delete most of my junk emails too without trying to look at them. Many of the emails are junk, spam, offers I don’t need and I didn’t ask for.
Heh, got your email, going to reply to it soon. :p
