If I could, I would spend all nights in the fog. Until, of course, I see someone with a hook.

People calling during boredom

Posted in Life by Bes on Dec 08, 2005

Ever have people calling you after a long time and telling you that you’ve been busy, when they themselves haven’t called you either? Ever have such friends talk to you as if they’ve missed talking to you, yet you get the feeling that they only called you because they were bored or wanted something? Ever have such friends talk to you only for a minute or two and them telling you that they were simply outside their house and decided to call you since you’ve been busy and won’t have time to call them, when in reality it’s them who’ve been acting busy, and then they ask you for a favor or you hear someone say in the background, on their end of the line, say “Ma’am, your turn”, and then your friend telling you that they called to say hi and will let you go and will call you back the same day to talk in detail, and never do until weeks later when they’re bored again?

Yep, me neither.

  1. Lara :

I have had such friends. A good amount of them, but that’s what one would expect considering I move so often and I encounter soo many people… The number of good friends though will always outnumber the number of faux ones.

  2. TAZ & Melody :

Just to let you know I come here also. :D –TAZ

Hehe, I know what you mean though!! I sometimes call people out of boredom also, but not to just say hi! Heheh.
