Forever in shadow & Forever in dead

I’m feeling so dead today, both hell & heaven acting like strangers,
Why, instead of seeing angels & birds, I see scary whales everywhere,
Do I really want to fly, or do I simply want it as a tattoo?
If whales and monsters can really fly, I wonder if I can too?
I always knew it was the shadow, my shadow that kept me back,
and I always knew it was my shadow, the shadow that pulled me ahead,
Though today I wonder, if it was the other place where I would belong,
what if the shadow was me, and I have been the shadow all along?

Is it the heat that is making me think? Or is it simply the weakness?
It is the long time hidden under the dirty sheets, or is simply the neatness?
Whatever it is, I feel like doing the same, doing some more,
People like me mostly have disabilities, though we become more active when we’re dead some more.
I feel dead today, not happy, not sad, only royally dead,
The perfect time to actually be taken under the wings,
but no, I see no wings, and only my shadow in the light,
The wings have forgotten me, and I am here under the light.

I finally realize I am the shadow, a shadow wanting cover,
While me and my physical self do cover others, now where is their cover?
I look forward to the night to relax, to actually be the shadow,
for at night everything feels like my domain, like everything is me, the shadow.
You may not see it, but I do see it in my head,
You think I don’t connect with you, but I do connect with your shadow,
Blame me when I am your wings, but go away when I need wings?
You may not feel it, but even even a shadow like me needs wings.

Yes, writing from under the couch is awesome, and having kit kat is even awesomer I think! Eating kit kat under the couch is awesomest, while writing!!!!! *muah!!!*
Writing is such a therapeutic way to relieve stress and feel better about everything that people tend to hold inside. I don’t understand how some people DON’T write and still manage to get away with internalizing all their feelings. That would be much too big a burden for me to bear. Some of my writing – songs, poems and stories, may seem “depressing” to others, but they are simply a way for myself to get those emotions out into the open. Thanks for this, I like it.
