Calm thoughts on a Windy day, and vice versa
The flag was flying in the wind, while the birds sat in different places trying to take a rest. It was not even noon, yet somehow it felt as if it was the perfect time to watch the dusk. Cars driving by, I sit on a chair under an umbrella that is supposed to protect me from the harmful rays of the then nonvisible sun. I sit there quietly, watching everyone pass by. How peaceful it was to have no thought in the head, other than what one sees! There was no thinking, no analysis, no question. Everything I saw was exactly what I had in my mind, and nothing more.
The previous months have been really hard, and they have been really interesting. Sometimes you need to relax to figure things out, and sometimes you need to jump into an ocean at night to figure things out. Sometimes you don’t need to do anything, and need to only suspend your thoughts for a while to figure things out. It’s so beautiful when you have tried all three in almost every way possible, and in the end, you realize the importance of each.
A cat catches my attention while I’m looking beyond the umbrella above me, and I try to play with it. I act, I use my hands and I make “meow meow” sounds while the cat sits there quietly, looking at me, as if to say “What the heck?” I keep meowing for about 30 seconds before it stands up on all its legs and walks off. Apparently, I’m a boring person for the good souls. That’s ok; if I ever see the cat again, I’ll try to say “woof woof” and see what happens.
To contrast the above image, here we ago, another picture to show a little bit of the hyper side. I’m the one in the middle, with my trademark jacket.
[ps: Give me a few more days before I start getting back to everyone, as my emails and logins are on my main computer and I'm not home most of the time these days.]
