The rain comes when I’m not around
So I wait for the rain for several days, hoping it would bring the dark skies with it also. When does it finally rain? During the 2 hours I was inside a movie theatre watching a movie just a few hours ago.
Was the movie, “The Sentinel“, worth it? I’m not sure, considering I could have danced for 2 hours in the rain instead. It was an “ok” movie. Nothing to get excited about, and also, nothing to consider a refund for either.
Here’s a picture I worked on a bit; it’s still in early stages of what I really want to accomplish. Please let me know what you think about it, or of it. Apples appear prettier than windows at the moment. And juicier too.

Jerine — > heeheeee! You hate the rain? Yes, for the dim sum, perfect! Where should I go to pickup the ‘chef’? Waiting.
[excited]
Chau — > Aaaah, lucky you!

I can’t see why you would wait around for rain! I’m much too excited for summer…!
Hmm… are you trying to highlight the bikers / crowds of people in the distance with the blur effect? If so, it seems to be working well. Can’t wait to see the final version!

Heh, I’m excited about rain all the time.
Hmmm, almost that, though a little bit different target. Still working on it, since it seems it’s not visible as to what I’m trying to achieve. : ) Thanks for letting me know.

I think that I know what you’re trying to accomplish.
A couple of suggestions…I think that it usually works best when you have some height over your subject and when you don’t have items in front of and obscuring your main, in-focus subject (in this case, the traffic sign and traffic barriers).

The focus is supposed to be on the stream of people/cyclists, yes? Don’t know much about this kind of thing, but that’s what drew my eye. I like it. But I think Otto might have a point re the traffic signs; they kind of draw the eye upwards rather than in to the centre. Does that make sense?

I shall stay away from The Sentinel
Thanks Bes,
Ajay

Otto K — > Heeheeee, yes. Am focusing on that these days, thanks.
The traffic sign and the barriers indeed cause a distraction of the focus.
Ally — > Yes, and also I was trying to make the whole picture look ‘fake’; I will demonstrate in the next few days. : ) Yes, you’re right too, they draw the focus away from the center. I wish I could go back and take a picture without those things blocking the view, heh.
Ajay — > Heh, it’s not a waste of money, though it’s not "Entertaining" of large proportions, either. It felt more of like something from the TV; a TV screening or something.
