The 2005 *boring* Oscars

Posted in General by Bes on Feb 27, 2005

Many of the people I know here in So Cal are not watching the Oscars tonight. This is different that what used to be the case before; everyone wanted to watch it if they could. Not only does this years Award ceremony sport movies that the mainstream audience of teenagers and “youth” have not seen, it also features some movies [such as the documentary "Wasp" ]that never opened widely in the U.S., leaving majority of the audience having no access to such movies. Even “The Aviator“, which will win the most awards, has not been seen by the majority.

It would be interesting to know if the other states prefer to watch the show tonight more than California. The only thing interesting may be the new comers to the movie industry, and the veteran Chris Rock being the host.
