Shrunk clothes: the, ummm, short shirt?

10 Apr

Last year I told you about my shirt that had shrunk length wise. Today, I was trying to get ready to leave the house during the last 5 minutes I had, and took out a shirt from the closet that I had not tried for a while. It was a white shirt with extremely thin and light blue stripes; a very nice shirt. There was, and is, only one problem with this shirt, though. The shirt itself is from when I was a bit smaller and thinner.

I’m now wearing a shirt that makes me look like someone who is a 15 year old trying to wear smaller shirts. The shirt is up to my wrists, and the shirt length is less than an inch below the belt line. If I’m standing straight and not moving, the shirt fits. If I start moving or do things like typing this entry on the keyboard, or even stand like a scarecrow, the shirt slides back and the cuff area of the shirt goes well below the wrists. A picture would have been cool, but I think I’ll refrain from doing that.

Too bad, I still don’t like throwing out clothes.

[Update at 2:37 pm]
I’m really bored, as you can see. I just looked at myself in the restroom mirrors and even with the above, it looks really super cool. I like this shirt! :?

T shirts look good to wear than wearing sleave shirts;regarding their easiness and comfort!! I usually wear t shirts all the year long and hardly wear a sleave shirt

Hi Underwater Sea Plants [nice username], thanks for the comment. :)

Heh, a T-shirt is indeed more comfortable compared to a full-sleeve shirt, for many people. Many workplace require full-sleeve shirts, however. DO you run into any situation where the requirement or preference is not the t-shirt?

I also had the same situation with you, and I know this is not good. I used to wear tshirts all the time.

There are people who always look great with short shirts and I guess you’re lucky to be one of them.
