If I could, I would spend all nights in the fog. Until, of course, I see someone with a hook.

Redesign, and slashing prices affect Toys R Us

Posted in General by Bes on Dec 14, 2003

Today was the day of redesign. I have redesigned some of the sites [not this one, apparently] to be converted to fully CSS-based prototypes for their applications.

Wal-Mart has been slashing prices so much, that Toys-R-Us and Amazon have been affected indirectly.

I just posted this somewhere else on the internet:

Wal-Mart is using this holiday season as a good opportunity to take an aim at one of its competitor:

Since Wal-mart is selling below its cost price on all the toys, it is taking a direct aim at Toys R Us, which recently announced plans to shutter its stores recently.

Amazon may be hit, in part by such price slashing on toys by WalMart also, since it has a three year deal with Toys R Us. Yes, where is that meter? A replacement has been put on the main page by Amazon, however. It is the number of holiday shoppers coming to the site in the past 60 minutes.
