If I could, I would spend all nights in the fog. Until, of course, I see someone with a hook.

McDonalds, and the free Chicken Select

Posted in General by Bes on Feb 16, 2005

On a recent trip to Berkeley, I had a chance to have breakfast at McDonalds. I was on a tight schedule, and had only a few minutes to spare to eat. That reason could get many people into trouble, I know.

Their McGriddles breakfast meal, costs almost four dollars. How big is the meal? I am happy [??] to say that the hash browns [they don't have hash inside of them, sorry] or brownies as some call it, are bigger than the main McGriddle themselves, when it’s supposed to be the exact opposite.

By the way, McDonalds is offering one free Chicken Select from February 17th to February 20th, 11am through 2 pm, at select stores. May be someone should start giving out free copies of Super Size Me also, somewhere, sometime.

All of the items on the breakfast menu are also basically the same, with almost 8 different types of McMuffins having exactly the same thing; the only different is how the eggs are cooked most of the time. McDonald’s burgers keep getting smaller and smaller, and most of the breakfast menu simply tastes bad. I’ve had breakfast menu from McDonald’s before in different areas, and the quality and quantity hasn’t improved at all. [...]
