Let’s all be merry instead of faking emotions

One thing I’ve noticed online over the past few years is the amount of repetition in people’s behavior. Most violent of these behaviors is the one in which people scream out through their writing that they’re in love. I usually don’t respond to such outbursts, but I let some of the people know that the way they express themselves shows that their love is about to end. What happens afterwards? The love indeed ends, in a really retarded and childish manner. And then what happens? Those people fall in love again the next minute and scream out to the world that they’re happy. I’ve stopped commenting on such posts completely.

I did counseling full time this year to troubled kids and grown up people, and it’s surprising that even through online words you can see people doubting the reality and wanting comfort and support from others online. One word: Grow up. Ok, those were two words, fine. It’s ok to reach out to other people and to express your emotions. It’s a beautiful thing to do. But don’t ignore the warnings that come your way also. Otherwise, you don’t deserve to start crying in front of everyone when those warnings given to you actually take a physical form and your love goes down the drain. And when I say drain, I don’t mean the kitchen drain. I mean the dirty drain that you find near sewers by the beaches.
