He thought it was already a jump drive (shaped like one) and I had to say, no, look, and explain to him what it did. Try to see if you can get that deal. I don't know why they're increasing the price; here the price is going to remain the same, hmmm. Also, once you have a contract, unless you end the contract and start again, the price should increase. Call them [instead of being called] and ask for the lowest price possible, as if you're a new customer. Ignore their request to give them your info [or make up some info] to get the quotes, and then try to get the same price through that same person.
