Japan Expo 2004 in Los Angeles, CA, USA
The Japan Expo 2004 happens this month at the LA Convention Center, South Hall. The event is divided over the span of 2 days, November 27th & 28th. That means that your Thanksgiving plans must include this event if you have any plans for thanksgiving and wish to attend this expo also. The events start at 10 in the morning, and end by 7 and 6 PM [Saturday & Sunday respectively], so you would still have time to make it to any other appointments at night. There are dozens of events planned, including two “Jinzen Weddings”, “Japan Expo 2004 Honor” [may be "interesting" for some people], sushi roll event, auto show and more.
Plan to get there early if you driving from somewhere outside of LA; parking may not be an issue, but traffic may be. Every year people have theories as to why there is no traffic on holidays and big events [everyone is at home or a party celebrating], or why there is lots of traffic [everyone is going somewhere or partying outside], so be prepared. The convention center is located at the following address [directions available on the expo web site]
Los Angeles Convention Center, South Hall - H & J
1201 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90015

The front side of the handout that I got a few weeks ago [below], somehow, has the wrong address Japanexpo.com [the intended one is Japanexpo.org], which is a dummy affiliate search engine.
