Divorced Katrina, and now getting engaged to Rita
I’ve been busy for the past 2 weeks meeting Katrina again and again. Now, I’m supposed to be going in the direction of Hurricane Rita. I’m off tomorrow to volunteer and help for at least 10 days.
I won’t have access to any emails or even the internet [I think], thus I won’t be able to communicate much then. I’m sorry if I seem absent from visiting your site or not responding to any emails lately; I’ll get back to things whenever I’m back [hopefully].
Until then, take care, and don’t party too much until I’m back.

WOW noble thing you’re doing Bes. Plenty of luck and good health to you. Hope you can spread some good vibe to the victims. They need more of emotional support than anything. Take care man!

that’s really nice of you, but where are you going… exactly?

I wish that I had the time and capabilities to do such an honorable thing…but alas, one of the setbacks of being a mother and multitasking work+school. Take very good care while you’re being a hero and remember to wear a lifejacket.

Wow, good luck with it all!

Wow way to help out.
You must be an amazing person! Luckily Rita didn’t seem to live up to what people were fearing, but still lots of damage. Good luck with everything, and stay safe!

Like I told you, you’re my hero!
I haven’t been partying, I promise.

Yay! I’m glad you can do this! I wish I was able to, just can’t with a two-year-old when I am his main provider, as they call it.
Go Bes!!!

Thanks everyone for the comments! I really enjoyed them and really wish you all the best in life, since you all wished me good luck and well wishes. I wouldn’t be having fun online without you guys, and for me, there wouldn’t be any fun having a site online if it wasn’t serving any purpose [purpose including happiness of any sort].
JErm –> Thanks for the good luck.
Blanca –> I went to New Orleans, Mississipi [Jackson] and Texas [San Antonio].
birdie –> Being a mother and doing all of that is such a noble thing. Now that I’m back, it’s back to doing stuff and trying to avoid chaos. We never got a life jacket but I did get a vest later on as a gift from someone; will take a picture and upload it sometime.
Chau –> Thanks.
Ame –> I’m not an amazing person :). Rita didn’t cause that much damage, but the damage that was done resulted in lots of people going back at a time when the government officials were trying to clean up the city and that caused a little bit chaos. Will post about it in detail soon.
The Penguin Fan! –> YOU are my hero, not the other way round. You simply wanted to hear me brag about your powers, didn’t you? And you’ve been partying, I know.
valerie –> You’re lucky at being a provider [lol] and running such a wonderful site at the same time! I met a few different people on the trip and we exchanged lots of things including websites, and I also gave a few of the websites I liked simply to carry on a conversation. Yours was one of them; maybe they will visit, maybe they won’t.
Yellow-Man –> Hah! BBB, that’s nice. See you soon!
Carla x –> Thanks for the kind words; I really don’t deserve them.
Christina –> Thanks, that makes me feel much
about the whole trip.
Mali –> Heh, I hope I’m an awesome person. Thanks for the nice words.
Sanne –> Thanks for the comment about the layout. It was scary on many levels, yes.
Lilly –> Thanks [and thank you Shoomin for that]. : )
jr –> Nice nickname. Thanks for stopping by. : )
justin –> Heh, thanks for the kind words. You are a great person too, like everyone else on this site!
