6 signs of Racist-R-Us

Posted in General by Bes on Nov 15, 2007

Racism is everywhere. Stereotypes are everywhere too. Racism and discrimination do not exist only to flow from the majority to the minority; even the minority discriminates against other minorities and majorities. Many people, if not almost everyone, is guilty of racism in one form or another. “Guilty” is an interesting word here; how can we know what is right or wrong when we do not even know what is right or wrong? On top of that, how can someone be guilty of something that is probably always disagreed upon by certain people?

Today I would like to show you 6 trends I am seeing in people that results in many people becoming full-time racists. Here are 6 practical signs that you may be discriminating, and that you may in turn be having a racist attitude towards someone or certain people. By racism, I am also referring to discriminating, hating, and having a stereotypical mentality against someone or a group of people.

6 signs you are a member of the Racist-R-Us group

  1. You doubt a complete group of people immediately while trusting the other one completely

Imagine me telling you that a certain group of people did something bad, and that you immediately come to the conclusion that those people are bad and that you should not expect anything better from them. Now imagine me telling you that some people from the groups that you associate with did something bad, and that you immediately say things along the lines of “Well, they must have had a reason” or “It was only them who did it” or “I am not sure, I need to know the whole story before I judge.” Chances are you discriminate against a certain group immediately, while thinking critically when it comes to judging your own group of people.

When you hear about some Jews acting bad, you immediately agree that they are bad. When you hear about some Muslims acting bad, you immediately make sure that you try to ask for more proof or verification of the story, or you try not to judgment, opposite to what you did in the case of the Jews. The exact opposite story, interchanging the Muslims with the Jews and vice versa is a similar example. No matter what side you may be supporting, you discriminate against the other instantly and start passing judgments as if your opinions are thought our critically.

When you hear about some militant groups in Africa molesting and raping young children in certain areas in order to spread more fear, you start concluding that they are less civilized. When you hear about some American soldiers molesting or raping girls in Japan and some other bases, you immediately start doubting the story, asking for more verification, and maybe even starting to pinpoint the bad things about the foreign country in which such reported incidents take place. You may call such a trait patriotism; in reality, it is racism and a form of stupidity thriving together.

  2. Your pro-country mentality result in you hating a certain country or group of people

This is a huge headache in many cases. Europeans hating the Americans, Americans hating the Europeans, Palestinians hating the Israelis, Israelis hating the Palestinians, Canadians hating Americans, Americans hating Canadians, Pakistanis hating Indians, Indians hating Pakistanis, Mexicans hating Americans, Americans hating Mexicans, North Koreans hating the Americans, Americans hating the North Koreans, Chinese hating Japanese, Japanese hating Chinese, Iranians hating the Americans, Americans hating the Iranians, etc etc etc. It is as if countries were built to hate each other. I realize they were.

A small group of people from some hurt your country, and you are going to start hating the entire group of people or the majority of some country that those people are from because of that? Take your racist, narrow-minded mentalities somewhere else. I do not care. Anytime you automatically stereotype a majority or all people associated with a group of people because of your love for your own country, stay away from me, and instead impose your racist views on your family or your poor do-not-have-a-future-because-of-racist-parents children. Every country in this world is suffering, and every country in this world is inflicting harm on some other weaker country. Having a full circle of hating one another because of that only spreads racism.

  3. Your pro-religion mentality results in you hating a certain country or group of people

Christians against the Muslims, Muslims against the Christians, Buddhists against other religions, other religions against atheism and Buddhism, etc. How many times, every week or every minute of the day, do we see ourselves or someone else, either in real life or on TV, stereotype against a certain religion or someone or a group of people who try to follow a certain religion, or who may be directly or indirectly associated with a certain religion.

If someone brings up something bad about a religion you do not know about, you agree that it is bad. If someone brings up something bad about your religion, you want to inquire more, you try to defend your religion, you try to criticize every critic of your religion. For you, reality does not revolve around what is happening. For you, reality revolves around your religion being right and you defending it. That mentality is the exact same as those people who go around the entire planet torturing innocent people because of religion: killing people in Middle East because of religion, burning mosques and churches in America, prosecuting all religious people in many countries, torturing non-religious people in several religious countries, etc. It is as if your religion exists in order to spread torture, and you exist in order to spread racism.

  4. Your pro-ethnic mentality results in you hating certain ethnicities while completely favoring some over the other

Try remembering the last time someone brought up some major ethnic discrimination event from years ago, in order to justify your own hatred or discrimination for others. Maybe try remembering the last time you yourself cited some major event of racism or hatred in order to justify your hatred against some group of people. Did you yourself suffer anything, literally, in person? How many Vietnamese people who complain about the Vietnam war were actually in the Vietnam and suffered in person, and are thus not enjoying life at all today? How many of the African American youth today which complains about being stereotyped were actually stereotyped and hurt in person in the 60’s and 70’s, since that is the era I keep hearing everyday from the mouth of many?

How many people have actually seen a Jewish person steal money, a French act stupid and drunk, an Arab blow up something, a Canadian act illiterate of the world events, an American molest females in army bases in other countries, a Mexican steal your job literally, a Cuban bring drugs in his shoes, a black man listen to rap music while robbing your neighbor, and a white person running around screaming out “KKK FOR ALL” at the top of his or her lungs? There can be hundreds of more examples along the lines of what I just said. A lot of these things have happened, and a lot of these things are not happening. How can we look at the example of a few and stereotype everyone? You are going to stereotype everyone or even a large group of people, people you know nothing about, simply based on what some specific people have done?

Your excuse of “I know not everyone is like that” is stupid, pathetic and immature, considering the fact that you are always stereotyping that certain ethnic group and that when you are cornered you resort to that defense. Most people who complain about discrimination against them, in order to justify their own discriminatory views, have not experienced any of the above, yet they will say “I know it has happened to others, so I know what is going on.” Really? If we used such mentality, then all the Chinese, Japanese, Christians, Muslims, Jews, Americans, Mexicans, Canadians, French, Europeans, Russians, Buddhists, and more would be hating everyone on this planet, because I know a lot of Japanese, Koreans, Muslims, Christians, Anti-semitic-yet-do-not-realize-it, Europeans, Americans, Russians, and other people who have suffered physically in reality and people who simply cry on the bandwagon because someone else in the distant suffered or their great great grandfathers suffered.

Avoid saying such things which stereotype and hurt other people and their image“, I say. “Why don’t you mind your own god damn business or get lost.” Awesome mentality you have. Keep saying things that mingle with other people’s lives and business, but when others tell you to not say such things, you tell others to mind their own business. That is some amazing mature mentality you have.

Similarly, hating some ethnicity or feeling discriminated simply because your ancestors suffered does not mean you suffered. Suffering the after effects is one thing, and not suffering anything and being genetically linked to people who suffered, while enjoying life, is not equivalent to suffering yourself. There are many of us who have actually suffered in our lifetime more than you and your ancestors combined. Trying to attract the sympathy of others, by playing the victims game, in order to justify your own hatred when in reality you have suffered nothing is stupid. Such a logic does not equivilate to you being justified in hating others.

  5. You cannot help yourself from making certain ethnic or religious jokes which completely stereotype and hurt others, while you cannot make certain jokes about some ethnicities or religion

Ever hear the joke about the sex-addict and stupid French woman? Ever hear the joke about the terrorist Arab? Ever hear the joke about the miser Jew? Ever hear the joke about the stupid Japanese? Ever hear the joke about the illiterate American redneck? Chances are, you may have heard all of these jokes, but you may not be comfortable with all of them. If you do joke about some ethnicities but cannot joke about some other specific ethnicities, you may be racist. Simply joking about every ethnicity does not make you an anti-Racist; it just shows that you hate many more ethnicities than a typical racist person.

There is a difference between joking and not meaning things and realizing when it may hurt people and when it may only be a joke, and joking and hurting people and claiming that you did not intend to hurt anyone. If you are not good at realizing when it will hurt someone, stop joking.

You are comfortable at making fun of French or the Germans people but not the British? You are comfortable making fun of Buddhists or atheists but not the Christians? You are comfortable making fun of the Chinese or Koreans but not the Japanese? You are comfortable making fun of Muslims or the Arabs but not the Jews? You are comfortable making fun of Colombians or Cubans but not the Mexicans? You are comfortable making fun of people with light colored skins but not dark skin? You are comfortable making fun of anyone else except anything you try to associate with yourself or a group that the society around you tries to associate with? Poor you, you stereotypical racist moron. Your jokes are ways for you to be scared of being racist and be a racist at the same time, since your supposed-”it’s a joke“-disclaimer can probably make someone not beat you up for being stupid.

  6. You stereotype all the time, and you try to hide behind jokes or certain disclosures.

This is a trend that is slowly gaining more acceptance and ridicule at the same depending, depending on different people. Repeatedly making jokes about someone’s ethnicity, religion, lack of religion, lack of ethnicity, their background or anything else, which hurts someone, means you do not care about that person. That also means your jokes exist solely to make racist and discriminatory remarks, and that you are hiding behind your jokes to get away with your inability to not hate someone directly or indirectly because of things outside their control, like their background, as if someone was completely wrong with it in all situations.

When you know a joke can hurt or simply offend someone, as to why you are making that joke in context to someone who is involved in the conversation or joke with you, there is no point in saying “I’m sorry” afterwards. Why be sorry when you are continuously doing whatever you are doing anyhow?

Racism Rules! Literally.

These are the 6 signs that show the racism in you, me and others. These are also the 6 signs you can use to observe others around you and see whether or not someone exhibits some forms of hate or discrimination against some person or a group of people. Ideas and feelings of racism, without actually experiencing anything bad ourselves, are all around us. Even when we experience something ourselves directly, the idea of racism or hating a group of people only increases or takes turns. It can be very hard to simply keep such feelings inside of us.

I do not care what religion you have, what country you are from, what ethnicity you fantasize about, and what color you love blending in with. Treat me the way I act and am, and I will treat you in the same manner. Act racist around me, and I will simply realize that I wasted time around a loser like you. It’s your life; you can live in your small little racist bubble and feel all powerful and righteous. We both know what you really are. All I care about are actual actions, feelings and experiences in life.

Every point mentioned above can be observed as having different levels of dedication. Some people commit to some or all of the above points all the time, while others resort to it from time to time. Still, some people simply say some extreme things without actually being racist in order to make a point. However, if the listener or other people do not realize that you made a point, you have actually hurt the other person. What is the point of not being racist when your actions are hurting others as if you were racist? How about not being a racist and making sure whatever you do does not hurt others either?

Thank you for reading. Now if you will excuse me, I have to go to near an Indian owned 7-eleven to a Boba place owned by Koreans where only Asian workers are cashiers and only Mexicans make Boba in the back room, with the only non-Asian customers at night being white kids who read comics and where a black person will almost never be a customer. Or maybe I’ll go eat at Jack-in-the-Box next to it where I can focus more on getting curly fries than on the ethnic or background segregation of the drive-thru people or the people making the food. Who said fast food places were good for nothing?

  1. Vera :

Who can deny that racism is everywhere? (like the title very much ahha) It’s nearly impossible for some people or most people to not be racist. Perhaps they don’t realize that what they are doing indirectly is actually what you call racism. Or perhaps they classify it as something else. But its good that you’ve written about these to remind us about it lol. Good ending haha! Welcome to the real world =\

  6. Domain name info :

I don’t know why we hate so much other cultures :S

  7. Shopping malls and Wedding ideas :

I know why!, because we are stupid!

  8. Lisa :

This is a good article, but I wanted to make one comment here. We cannot be so afraid of being racist that we are afraid to have an honest discussion about race. The more uptight we are about our feelings the more we will just sweep them under the rug and suppress them. This only makes the problem worse. We need to be able to make observations without being labeled. For example, in America, Asian parents put an extreme amount of pressure on their children to exceed. This is just a fact, and I have heard this from MANY of my Asian friends. Just because not 100% of Asian parents do this does not make it an illegitimate observation. A black man who is shot and killed has almost certainly been killed by another black man. This is just a fact.

It is what we do with these observations that matters most.

  9. An Ordinary Life Insurance Employee :

    Racism happen because of narrow-mindedness
Racism happen because we always think about differences and ignore similarities
Racism happen because we lack of a common enemy

One thing that will significantly reduce racism

    ALIEN INVASION!!

That’s the only thing that will unite us as …..’the human race’

  10. Ashley :

I suppose I’m racist just like everyone else… we all have our opinions or screwed up reasoning for disliking or liking certain people. Many stereotypes are based on truths, perhaps half-truths, but there is definitely some fact there. Also, first impressions are almost always superficial, so things like ethnicity or dress become important to us, and we form these weird ideas about people based on that.

Now, what comes to mind when you think of a “crackhead”. If you’re American, probably a person of color, shabbily dressed… this is probably because crackheads are represented most in black culture - their music, comedy, movies, etc. Also, a higher population of blacks (as opposed to whites) live in economically depressed or violent areas like projects, inner cities, etc… and are therefore exposed to the underground drug culture more often and at an earlier age than whites. Things like this can be proven with a quick look at the demographics for pretty much any city nationwide… now, people process this idea in their heads and come up with racist ideologies (blacks will destroy their neighborhood, all blacks sell drugs, all blacks carry guns, etc). These things always spiral out of control somehow…

Another example is the idea that Asians are more intelligent. This seems racist, but many Asian countries have higher standards as far as education goes, and schools are more structured… so we somehow come up with that generic image: an Asian nerd with bifocals who’s good at math.

I don’t want to condone racism, I’m just trying to understand how we get these ideas in the first place. A lot of stuff seems racial, but if you look deeper it is more about how much money you make… at least in my experience :/

  11. Pest Control RI :

    When does it end?

  12. Arizona Web Programmer :

The more people talk about it, the longer it will go on :(

  13. Watch Bleach Episodes :

Yes racist is everywhere, whether it’s a big or small country. In this situation, the minority will always be the victim.

  14. Florida SEO Firm :

” I don’t want to condone racism, I’m just trying to understand how we get these ideas in the first place. A lot of stuff seems racial, but if you look deeper it is more about how much money you make… at least in my experience :/ ”

Whether fortunately or unfortunately- making money is the only defense victims of racism have. With money one could at least try to regain most of what racism has done to his or her life. The exclusions and lack of a fair shot at life from the start, the only way to defeat all these handicaps is by having money. Just a thought.

  15. search engine :

Even when we experience something ourselves directly, the idea of racism or hating a group of people only increases or takes turns. It can be very hard to simply keep such feelings inside of us.

  16. Jazz Bar Los Angeles :

The only thing I can say about being racist (that hasn’t already been said here), is that it is a weakness that those who would impose their will on another nation like to have and feed regularly.
This is so it makes it easy to demonize who ever they want to make the people of the nation ,(any nation) think that those people are their enemy. That way these people using ” leaders ” can pull off anything they want to (no matter how unbeliveble ) and enough people will be hate filled against their “enemies” to jump into picking up a rifle amd fighting in a real war put on for falsely stated reasons!
When your leaders tell you one thing on the right hand, better watch what the left hand is doing!
This goes for leaders of countries, and double for religious leaders!!!
All in all, deciding you know all about any one person because of their color, religion, or ethnic background sucks!
    James

  17. Dallas Office Space :

Excellent post! And NO it has nothing to do with money whatsoever! I know Rich individuals as well as poor indiviuals that are hateful just the same.

  18. Forrest :

I’ve never understood nationalism - America is the best country in the world because I was born here - or religious extremism. The second, in particular, seems very dangerous to me: the world is literally Balkanized into Christians, Muslims, Jews … competing groups that are prone to extreme distrust of one another.

  19. Nick Saban :

In agree that everyone is a racist, at times.
Your 6 signs was very neat.

    :O)

  20. Niagara Falls Blog :

It just sickens me that this still goes on or better yet, that it ever went on.

  21. Gene :

While few of us think of ourselves as racists or somehow unfairly prejudiced towards any group we (I) have those parts within our psyche. It is for us to challenge the parts of ourselves that categorizes others as “them” and as somehow less human and worthy of life than “Us”.

It helps me to remember the commonalities of people rather than the differences. I am an American who lives outside the United States and has lived many places in the world. People are inherently similar, the same, the world over. It is a myth that one group of people or nationality are somehow “good” or “bad.”

  22. Motivator :

No I am not a racist..But I find this blog post good..keep up the gud work

  23. Ashley :

Excellent post! And NO it has nothing to do with money whatsoever! I know Rich individuals as well as poor individuals that are hateful just the same.

That wasn’t the point. My point was that people in America are more likely to judge you based on how much money you make, than by your skin color. Or maybe they will judge you at first because you are of a certain ethnicity, but upon finding out you are loaded you will be “redeemed” in their eyes and “different than the others”.

  24. Dallas Office Space :

@ Ashley, I do agree with you on that, for the most part. There are still some people stuck in there ways and no matter what you accomplish they’ll still think your a piece of crap.

  25. Crawfish Boil :

Made me think. Maybe we all are racist, to a degree?

  26. So Listen To This :

    Great article!!

  27. This Week On :

Something that we should all be aware of and think about. Great written post.

  28. Ivy :

Wow! I’m totally guilty of this. I’m also a minority and I do discriminate against other minorities. Especially Indians. But then, who can blame me? LOL. Just kidding. :-)

  29. Tess :

True. We have a bit of a racist in all of us. Perhaps its human nature.

  30. weight loss products expert :

Nice post. Anyway, it is always hard to find reason why we are racist. Everyone is a bit racist so it’s our duty to press that feeling.

  31. Utah Freight Hauling :

racism has always existed and always will… we are never all going to get along :/

  32. Daniel :

for me, seeing is believing. its true that whenever we hear about the atrocities in Africans we blindly believe them but when americans do the same we look upon the news with doubt. racism is not only verbal but its more to do with the mental state of frame. the pst was awesome. thanx for an eye opener of an article.

  33. Mike :

The worst kind of racism is the subtle ones we encounter every day and aren’t shout-in-your-face obvious. Asian males and white females as couples have even more troubles as guys and girls getting along as couples when there is so much racism around. Thanks for the article.

  34. hilarious animal videos :

why can’t we all just get along ? lol .. but seriously the remark about countries built to hate each other .. I wonder why that is ? Or where that comes from?

  35. Paul :

Yes it is a shame but there many types of racism all over the word same as there is alot of prejudism why cant people just get along :D

It’s so tiresome. What is more disturbing is that working in corrections, I can understand why some of the thugs I deal with don’t like me. I’m a big, white authority figure, and they grew up in a community where racism is taught at home.

What I don’t get is why my african-american colleagues are even more hostile than the inmates. Perhaps I just work in a community with bad race relations. As far as I’m concerned race means nothing, and especially where I work, the only colors that matter should be blue and orange.

The sad thing is, just like the way you respond to someone who you know doesn’t like you, it has made me very guarded about my words and behavior around certain individuals at work. I was never this uncomfortable about race before I worked this job.

  37. LA Headshot Photography :

Seems that racism comes in all colors. And so does love. I’ve been around now awhile.(OK QUITE AWHILE) and I grew up with people in my extended family who were quite racist.
While my father and mother were active for civil rights, seems aunts, uncles, and cousins tried to undo any good my parents tried to instill.
The point that the family reached that blew the family apart was when my father stood up to his in laws, and told them off. relations were never the same again.
My father did bring out a good point to me after that time though.
The civil war was fought (mostly by white men) where thousands of these white men died to stop the practice of one human being owning another. These men and boys should be remembered by some when they start thinking of all the repression they have experienced in their lives.
No, not every white person owned slaves. No not every white person hates or even remotely dislikes people of color.
Most people don’t judge people by color anymore. But everyone judges by attitude.
If you have a good attitude you can go anywhere you want to be anymore.
But display a mean , a feel sorry for yourself , or hateful attitude, and you will get nowhere fast. Thats life in this country.
If you run into someone who hates you for the color you bare, leave that area and kick the dust off your feet as you go. Because right around the next corner your going to run into someone that will cut you an even break.
Just remember hate comes in all colors ,but so does love! BE THE LOVE!

LOL love the ending of the post :P

  41. Jon | Affiliate Marketing Online Program :

I agree with you 100% and the sad thing is, we all see these things go on upteen times everyday!

  42. Jazz Bar Los Angeles :

In my business, racism would be the stupidest thing you could get into.
Jazz was brought into existence due largely by people of color (notice that the album of the year at the Grammy awards was a Jazz album by Herbie Hancock, a man of color?)
People of all colors helped build this country into what it was, and can be again.
    Hate is for LOSERS.
Good neighbors, and even good relatives come in all colors. James

  43. Korean Technology News :

I guess I am at risk of stereotyping a group here, but I walked into an Abercromie and Fitch store a couple months ago, and out of the 50 or so models in their posters every single one was white, the same applied to their 10 staff members. I had always heard the company was racist, just never saw it so blatantly before.

  44. V :

    Great article!
I should say Lisa has a point there though. We need to be able to make observations without being labeled.Because if you make an honest observation that turns out to be true you’re still in danger of being labeled as racist nowadays. This is especially true when it comes to crime and minority groups where even quoting the results of a legitimate sociological research or official police statistic can put you it the “racist bin”

  45. low calorie beverages and drinks :

I’ve been guilty of all of the above at one time or another. Not any excuse, but it’s just human nature. We need to try to do our best to at least not act upon these stereotypes and discriminations; whether we have them in our heads or not. No such thing as a perfect world, I suppose.

  46. ivy :

Nice post. Interesting and informative. :D

  47. Bes :

[Sorry for the late reply everyone.]

Vera, thanks for the comment. I agree: it is hard to not notice such a thing, as it has become such a commonality among our daily lives and views. Many people indeed do not realize that they are doing something that is considered racist, and they are still able to make someone feel discriminated against. So basically, fast food places are good for something not related to food? 0_0

Blogginlain, thanks. I will try my best. :)

Poker Blog, thanks for sharing. :) Not everyone hates Americans, no? A lot of hatred for someone comes due to the hatred from that someone, which is still not justified on all levels. Look at a Korean movie like “The Host”, showing Americans has bad and uncaring for the Koreans. Also, look at majority of the Hollywood movies today: they show all other races in a weird and inferior light, as if other races were too strange to be normal. What do you think?

Satellite tv, thanks. Heh, I have not seen that show in a while. Is it still good as its first few episodes? Does it also show racism in a different spotlight, with only one good white boy to help Chris while others are bad? Or does it not tackle that issue at all and goes in another direction and towards other issues?

Floor Mats, thank you also. Do you have any suggestions on how we can change? One of the essential things I recommend is to think from scratch.

Domain name info, thanks also. Can you think of any reasons why people hate anything in general?

Shopping malls and Wedding ideas, [long nickname heh]. Also, lol @ your answer to Domain name info. Do you think the reasons that cause us to be stupid are always stupid also?

Lisa, thanks for sharing. That is a very good observation indeed: I agree that many of such things are fact [Asian mathematical education = yes BUT mostly in rich Asians and not in majority of the poor Asians who usually go into art majors, though I do not know about Black killing ratios that much yet]. What I think in addition to that, however, is that such facts exist due to some racial or biased views, and that such facts do not need to be accepted simply because they exist. We can figure out why such things are happening and try to change the very reasons. I think maybe addressing the racism issues and problems can help change such facts. What do you think?

An Ordinary Life Insurance Employee, thanks for sharing too. I find the word “narrow-mindedness” very interesting, as it realistically describes what may be happening in many people. I agree that we ignore similarities. The more similarities we acknowledge, the more differences we will accept also. We can easily accept all the differences in our boy friends or girl friends, but when we run into someone from another ethnicity, we think “Wow he/she is so different, weird culture”? Such a weird thinking mentality we have where we assume things so quickly and without any logical or good thought.

Hmmm, an Alien Invasion: well, for the first few days, many people will keep assuming it is some other race or country attacking them, so by the time everyone is united, if everyone does decide to unite, a lot of damage will have already been done.

We need X-Files to lead the way, no? Can you think of some reasons why an alien invasion will unite us as a human race for reasons other than to fight off a common enemy? If the aliens are wooed back into space, will we all return to our normal racist views? Or will we then be united on governmental levels and will then start seeing more divisions among the common/poor person?

Ashley, thanks for the comment. Many stereotypes are indeed based on the truth: I agree. First impressions in my view are also very superficial: you said it very well.

Your view of the trends of demographics are also going in the right direction: many of the areas that people think are poor areas tend to either have “crackheads” as you put it, or ethnic minorities as the majority. I agree about the Asians being more intelligent also in the mainstream media, and I also know some very not-so-intelligent people who are Asians also.

I think I know where you are headed with the comment, and I think it is a good form of thinking. You are basically outlining some of the facts that bias us into thinking the racist or biased thoughts that we allow to dictate our lives. Money does seem to have huge impact on many of the racist things: bad neighborhoods have less money, the nerdy kids usually come from rich or richer families that could afford better or more schooling, and crime usually happens in areas with not as much police or other funding as the richer cities.

Thanks for sharing Ashley. That is indeed a very good way to start realizing why this is happening. It is not all a myth, many things are facts due to biased views or elements like money.

Also, excellent point made in your 2nd comment: if you have money, people will treat you better as if you have proved yourself to not be a low-life scum like all the others from your ethnicity.

Pest Control RI, thanks for the question. I think it ends with the end itself: the end of a person who gets killed due to racism, the end of an idea because the stronger racist ideas shot it down, the end of openness because the opposition could not give up being racist directly or indirectly, and among many other things, the end of looking at either racism or non-racism as being a preferred route and taking that path. What do you think?

Arizona Web Programmer, thanks for your comment. I think we need to address it more in serious matters and not give up talking about it on a balanced level: we need to talk about racism from all directions, and not just against a certain ethnicity if we are from that ethnicity. A lot of racist people joke about racism by discriminating others and then they simply make a racist comment or two about their own ethnicity as if that balances out everything. No: if you discriminate against someone else who is innocent, simply making fun of yourself does not make you any better than a 100% racist person.

Watch Bleach Episodes, thanks for sharing [wow, such interesting usernames in this thread. Interesting avatar you have too at the moment :)]. Racism is indeed everywhere: however, one thing I have noticed is that the minority is not always the victim. Many times, the majority gets discriminated against also. What do you think?
