White Chicks - Shawn Wayans & Marlon Wayans07.07.04

This movie was supposed to be very funny, and it turned out to be very dry, and not funny overall. The story line is simple; two undercover cops change their style and have a plastic surgery-type makeup to look like girls. Sounds interesting, right? No, it is not, once you see that the makeup is as bad as it can get. Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans do not look anything close to looking like a girl, let alone mimic two beautiful girls. The plots in the movie, like kidnapping the girls, are so childish and superficial beyond normal belief, you will wonder if the director thought that the audience would be hypnotized when they watch this movie.

How To Win Friends And Influence People by Dale Carnegie - ISBN # 067172365007.05.04

How To Win Friends And Influence People by Dale Carnegie

Media Type : Book | Rating : 8.0 out of 10 | Read on : Sometime in 2000

Released : 1937, re-issued repeatedly & in 1990 | New & Used Book Price : $7.99 & $1.25

This is one of books I have that people borrow from me the most after I tell them a bit about what it is. This is also the book that I rarely get back on time from those people. Even though this book first came out in the late 1930’s, Dale Carnegie has written many books along with this one that pace through time and have held their heads throughout the decades. The book focuses on how to build your communication and behavior with people around you and thus make friends. By friends, Dale focuses on both the friends we know in life and also strangers who could be potential friends or customers, or people we deal with in everyday life. The book offers real examples from people who have adopted the changes from the classes by Dale and also from their own experiences.

Another face07.05.04

I found this Mini-Mizer through Lynda’s SoVeryPosh.com, which lets people picture their ideal characters in their favorite lego pieces.

I found the one on the right a bit nice. This is a nicer version of me that someone sent me, with almost no traces of anything hidden; innocent, right?

If you have seen 2 Fast 2 Furious, you may get a completely wrong impression of the original “The Fast and the Furious”. The original has Vin Diesel giving out a performance that adds character and depth to the whole movie. It is a story with the background of Vin Diesel as the main focus of Paul Walker, who is assigned as an under cover to bring Vin Diesel in. However, Paul notices that Vin is not just a criminal mastermind; he is also a family man with a lot of depth in his life and is not a bad person overall. The whole movie revolves around that, with some interesting surprises along the way.

Every once in a while you come across a movie that sends some spine-tingling shocks through your body when you least expect it. This movie comes very close to such shocks, telling us a story line that’s unique and very well told. The movie tells us the story of Paula Henning [the talented Franka Potente from the masterpiece Lola Rennt, otherwise known in America as Run Lola Run], who gets accepted to an Anatomy University and gets involved in her classes and practical experiments on deceased human bodies until she starts getting hints as to how these bodies were deceased.

Donald Lapre scam pours into other ads through small leaks07.02.04

The same people and testimonials that I mentioned in my post about “Watching tv after midnight” who testified in the greatness of Donald Lapre are right now, at 1:18 am Friday, testifying [whether as customers or as the owners of this company, which is even more surprising] about the greatness of FootHill Nissan Instant Auto Credit Hotline [213-687-7000] on Channel 13.

I have yet another Gmail invite available to be given away. The first person to let me know [through email or by leaving a comment here] their email address here gets it. I do not need to know your full name if you do not wish to reveal it; I will simply make up a bogus name for you [which you can always change later].

T-mobile’s highest paying customer07.01.04

I paid T-mobile yesterday the most expensive phone bill I have ever paid in my entire life for around 22 days of service. The first amount below is what I owe for going over my “service limit” after my last months bill, and then the 2nd amount is the amount I went over this month. I must be the only customer paying this much for less than 4 weeks of service in the entire county, or maybe many counties.
